According to the Rwanda National Police based in Kigali City, the rain caused havoc in Gasabo District, claiming the life of this retired senior police officer.
The tragedy occurred at around 1:00 pm in Rindiro Village, after water from a neighbor's house above entered the wall surrounding his home, causing it to collapse. The wall reportedly fell on the room where Kamanzi was sleeping while resting.
