Mutoniwase Diane, a 28-year-old woman, was brutally murdered in Kicukiro, Kigali, on November 20, 2025. She was stabbed in the neck and abdomen in front of her bar, allegedly by her boyfriend, Ruberintwari Nerson, a 34-year-old man, with the help of a cook at the bar, nicknamed Kabwa. The cook has been arrested, while Ruberintwari is still on the run.
According to reports, the murder occurred around 4 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, amidst heavy rain. The motive behind the killing is believed to be jealousy, as Ruberintwari suspected Mutoniwase of having another man in her life
