Perezida Paul Kagame, Umugaba Mukuru w’Ikirenga w’Ingabo z’u Rwanda, yakoze impinduka nini mu bayobozi b’Urwego rw’Igihugu rw’Igorora, RCS, aho yazamuye mu ntera abakozi benshi, anirukana abandi kubera impamvu zitandukanye z’akazi n’imyitwarire.

Nk’uko itangazo rya RCS ribivuga, Perezida Kagame yazamuye ba Ofisiye Bakuru 46 bari ku ipeti rya Superintendent bagirwa Senior Superintendent. Ni intambwe igaragaza ko hari abakozi bashimwe ku mikorere yabo no ku ruhare bagira mu kunoza imicungire y’amagorero mu gihugu.

Mu byiciro bya Ofisiye bato, abagera kuri 37 bari bafite ipeti rya Chief Inspector bahawe irya Superintendent, naho 18 bari Inspectant bagirwa Chief Inspectant. Abandi 10 bari Assistant Inspectant na bo bazamuwe ku ipeti rya Inspectant. Uko kuzamurwa bigamije guhemba umurava n’ubushobozi mu kazi ka buri munsi.

President Kagame promoted 46 RCS Senior Officers from the rank of Superintendent to Senior Superintendent and dismissed 6 Directors.

President Paul Kagame, Commander-in-Chief of the Rwandan Armed Forces, has made major changes to the leadership of the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), promoting many employees and dismissing others for various performance and disciplinary reasons.

According to a statement from RCS, President Kagame has promoted 46 Senior Officers from the rank of Superintendent to Senior Superintendent. This move reflects the recognition of staff for their performance and contribution to improving the management of crime in the country.

In the Junior Officers category, 37 Chief Inspectors were promoted to Superintendent, while 18 Inspectors were promoted to Chief Inspector. Another 10 Assistant Inspectors were also promoted to Inspector. These promotions are intended to reward dedication and efficiency in daily work.

On the other hand, President Kagame has demoted five senior officers and other junior officers, while dismissing six senior officers, 13 junior officers, and 277 non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers. These dismissals are believed to be related to the implementation of new regulations to better manage conflicts and combat misconduct.

Such changes are a regular occurrence in Rwanda's security apparatus, in order to improve performance and have competent and honest leaders. RCS plays a key role in changing the lives of prisoners and helping them reintegrate into normal life, so appointing the right leaders is essential.
