American rapper Lil Wayne of 44 years old, has hinted that he is engaged to 23-year-old Madi Cannon, after calling her his fiancée on social media last week.
Lil Wayne, 44, made the remarks in a 10-second video he posted on social media, as he congratulated his former Hot Boys bandmate, BG, after announcing that he too had engaged to his girlfriend Brooke Jones.

This comes after Lil Wayne denied reports in July 2026 that he was engaged to a girl. On July 5, he went live on Instagram and said, "No, I'm not engaged. I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person but I didn't want to be a burden on her," confirming that they had broken up.
At the time, the reason for the breakup was health issues, as he had missed his "20 Years of Carter Classics" tour in Bangor due to migraines and a seizure disorder that prevented him from flying. Now, they have reconciled very quickly.
Madi Cannon is a girl from Kokomo, Indiana, an Instagram influencer as @xomadik, who became famous in May 2026 when TMZ announced that she was Lil Wayne's new girlfriend.

If he does indeed tie the knot with Madi Cannon, it would be his first engagement since he split from Denise Bidot in 2021, and he's set to be BG's best man when he becomes a husband.
