The AFC/M23 coalition fighting the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has integrated 1,518 special forces fighters into its army, including those from the FARDC, who are determined to fight against the Tshisekedi regime. The Commander-in-Chief of the AFC/M23 fighters, Gen Maj Sultani Makenga, said that the DRC has been destroyed by the Tshisekedi regime, which runs the country like a puppet.
He said that the AFC/M23 forces are striving to liberate the country, and that the civilians will not continue to be killed. Gen Makenga pointed out that refugees in various countries have fled the evil actions of the FARDC forces and these various groups.
AFC/M23 claims that Tshisekedi has gathered all the thieves and criminals and armed them to kill civilians because of their ethnicity. They kill citizens who refuse to follow the evil ideology they instill in them, and they kill them to loot their property.
Gen Makenga said that they want to build a country that is respected by its citizens and that it will be achieved. He said, “Are you ready to oust the indifferent government of Kinshasa?” They all replied, “Yes, Afande.”
AFC/M23 said that people who left the FARDC without knowing where they went could be placed as prisoners of war and handed over to the Kinshasa government.
The war between FARDC, Wazalendo, mercenaries, FDLR and Burundian forces against AFC/M23 has been going on for many years, and this movement that fights for the rights of Congolese Tutsis who are being massacred and expelled has shown that it prioritizes liberating the country, taking it out of the hands of Tshisekedi and his allies.
AFC/M23 says it continues to stand for the lives of the people, and that it supports peaceful processes, but that it will continue to do everything possible to fight for the people and their rights.
